great central base for exploring downtown raleigh and parks

During my stay, I loved how convenient it was to visit the beautiful Dorothea Dix Park, which was less than 3 km away, and the City of Raleigh Museum, just a little over 3 km from my hotel, making my city strolls so enjoyable and memorable.

Room decent size and comfortable beds. Check-in took forever, very disorganized staff. Security felt lacking at night, not ideal.

Clean room, good amenities, the free parking made it easy to explore the area during our stay, and being close to the metro station allowed us to enjoy our weekend in comfort.

I stayed for a couple of nights to explore the nearby attractions and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room, which made for a comfortable stay. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially when I asked for recommendations on local dining spots. Although the wi-fi connection was a bit spotty at times, the friendly atmosphere and safe environment made this stay enjoyable overall.

my stay was surprisingly better than my previous experience in raleigh. the room was clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my visit. overall, it exceeded my expectations for comfort and convenience, and the location was perfect for exploring the city.

I checked into Super 8 in Raleigh and felt a wave of relief seeing the security cameras around. The quick check-in process was a bonus, especially traveling with kids. Room looked updated and clean. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping us comfortable during the hot days. They even cleaned the room while we were out. That was impressive since I've never experienced that before. However, the fridge was a bit small, making it hard to store all our snacks. The area outside had some sketchy vibes. there were individuals lingering around, which made the location feel unsafe at times. Hearing noise from outside during the night disrupted our sleep a bit. Staff seemed friendly, but more attention to the neighborhood’s safety would be great.

The location provides easy access to downtown attractions, making it convenient for a quick exploration of the area. Parking is ample, allowing for easy entry and exit without the hassle of street parking.

Upon arrival, the first thing that caught my eye was the chain link fence topped with barbed wire that surrounds the property. The primary concern here is safety. we witnessed people loitering in doorways and an uncomfortable atmosphere prevalent around the grounds. The noise from traffic and nearby rooms was relentless, making it hard to get a good night's sleep with horns and music blasting throughout the night. I also felt uneasy when I received an unexpected call from the front desk late at night, which I can only speculate was not a good sign. The pictures online are a far cry from the reality. the rooms are outdated and not as depicted, leaving a sour taste in my mouth.

the super 8 has a clean parking lot and the front desk staff were super friendly. my room was updated, and the a/c worked great. i particularly liked that the property felt safe, perfect for solo travelers. overall, a nice place to stay after a long day.

Nice hotel with free wi-fi, air conditioning, and 24-hour reception. Staff were very helpful on my first stay, suggesting dining spots. I'm coming back for Easter.
